On the phone: scan it, or open the doorway and type the code. It lights once, for ten minutes.

Nobody wrote down how. These are the main ideas people argue about.
One long ramp up one side. Simple, but it would have to be enormous to reach the top.
Switchbacks climbing one face, like a mountain road.
A ramp hidden inside the walls, winding up (Jean-Pierre Houdin's idea).
The King's Chamber has two narrow shafts. The north one climbs at about 32.5°, the south one at about 45°. Around 2500 BC the north shaft pointed at Thuban (Alpha Draconis), the pole star then, and the south shaft at Alnitak in Orion's Belt as it crossed due south.
The sky has turned since. Below is the sky over Giza in 2500 BC, worked out by the same engine, turned back about 4,500 years.

Three things to make with paper and a printer. No camera, no photo: you type a height and trace with a marker.
Your size, on tiles you tape together. Lie down on it and get traced like a pharaoh.
